The answers you give in the sign-up form: your name, email address, institution or organisation, role or course, fields of work or interest, short bio, profile link (if given), the things you'd be interested in, answers about teaching, supervision or modules through Irish, any other comments you share, and your consent choices, along with the date and time the form was submitted.

- To contact you about STEM events and opportunities through Irish.
- To find people for specific events and projects, based on what you ticked.
- To forward invitations to take part in research studies and events. We never share your details without permission.
- In anonymised, combined form (e.g. numbers of people, or unattributed quotes) in reports, funding applications and advocacy for STEM through Irish and Irish-medium third-level education.
- To list you in the public Eolaíre, if you choose.
Your data will never be sold, or shared with anyone else without your permission.
We will never put your personal data through AI tools.

Nothing about you is published unless you choose to be in the public Eolaíre. If you do, your name, institution or organisation, role or course, fields, bio, link (if given), the activities you chose, and an icon if you are interested in teaching, supervising or studying through Irish will be shown.
Your email address is shown only if you choose that separately, and it is displayed in a form that makes it harder for spam programs to collect. The modules, projects or theses you mention and any other comments you share are never shown.
Information in the public Eolaíre can be seen by anyone, and we can't control how others use it.

We process your data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation). You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing stemasgaeilge[at]gmail[dot]com.
Cé eile a láimhseálann na sonraí?Who else handles the data?
Stóráiltear na freagraí i nGoogle Forms agus i nGoogle Sheets, faoi théarmaí caighdeánacha Google, agus d'fhéadfaí iad a phróiseáil lasmuigh den Aontas Eorpach. Óstáiltear suíomh an Eolaíre ar GitHub Pages, agus ní bhíonn ach an t-eolas poiblí air.
Úsáideann an suíomh clónna ó Google Fonts, rud a chiallaíonn go bhfeiceann Google seoladh IP do bhrabhsálaí. Ní úsáideann an suíomh fianáin ná anailísíocht.
Responses are stored in Google Forms and Google Sheets, under Google's standard terms, and may be processed outside the European Union. The Eolaíre website is hosted on GitHub Pages and contains only the public information.
The website uses fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your browser's IP address. The website does not use cookies or analytics.

We keep your data for as long as you remain signed up. Every two years or so, we'll email you to ask whether you're still happy to be signed up. If you ask us to delete your data, it will be deleted within 30 days.
